You can delete your account directly within the Avila app:
Your account will be deactivated immediately and you will be signed out of the app.
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed within 30 days:

In limited circumstances, certain data may be retained after account deletion:

Apart from that deletion record, no retained data can be used to identify you or reconstruct your account.
One thing sits outside your account. If you also took the reflection at take.avila-catholic.app and confirmed your email there, that email address and those answers are kept separately, because you gave that consent on its own. Deleting your app account does not remove them. Use the unsubscribe link in any of those emails, or write to privacy@avila-catholic.app and we will delete them.
You do not have to do anything for an unused account to be removed. If you stop using Avila entirely, we delete it for you:

| 18 months of inactivity | We send you a warning notification, so the deletion is never a surprise. |

Opening the app resets this clock. Inactivity is measured from the last time you used Avila, not from when you last paid — cancelling a subscription does not start it.
